If you kayak fish in warmer climates, here are a couple of great items to wear while you’re on the water. We both love wearing AFTCO apparel. I’m using the Ninja Performance Shirt right here. It has a built-in sun mask so I can bring this up, keep my nose covered, my cheeks, and has a little hood that goes over the top that stops my ears from getting burned. It’s also long-sleeved so it keeps my arms protected, and I like wearing long pants on the water for the majority of the time because it keeps my legs from getting fried. How about you Howie?
I’ve got the AFTCO Samurai shirt. It’s a long-sleeved performance shirt that keeps me from getting sunburned. It’s quick drying so I stay nice and comfortable. I’ve got AFTCO Performance Fishing Shorts on, this is the Cyber Short model. Down on my feet I’m wearing some quick-draining Under Armour fishing shoes. These are great for treading through the surf and keeping your feet nice and comfortable and dry.
